Bhajji Uncle was a loving Dadu Uncle to our children, and more like a friend to us. He was always there for us in our hour of need with a most generous heart and home. I don’t believe anyone ever returned from his house without a full tummy and a smile with a gratitude filled heart. His legendary barbeques made him world famous (and all of us by proxy) as guests who visited from various continents could not stop gushing over his master recipes and incredible hospitality. Hours of standing over the barbeque for a friend or family who needed help was never a problem. His problem certainly was each one of us trying our best to refine his recipes and give him suggestions from the armchair to which his response would be – first learn to cut onions properly before you give me ideas on how to improve ! And truly who could ever improve on his talent ….For us Bhajji Uncle and Swaran Aunty have supported us emotionally and physically through our difficult times and we promise you Bhajji Uncle that we will maintain this bond of support within the family that you so cared about. Rest in peace our dear Uncle.
